Mosley Hill Lookout overlooks the piney woods of the Kisatchie National
Forest in Louisana. Unusually high (110’) for a metal 13’x13’ cab with
catwalk, this model was rare in the southeast where 7’x7’ cabs are the norm.
Built in the late 1940’s and staffed until 1981, the tower is to be moved and
restored on a hill at the site of the nearby CCC camp where the tower it
replaced once stood.
